C-Ville Weekly editor leaving

C-Ville Weekly is losing one of its editors.

Jessica Luck, who has been with the weekly for three years, is leaving to take a new position at Bridgewater College in Rockingham County.

Luck will serve as the director of media relations for Bridgewater. She has been in the weekly newspaper industry for more than a decade.

“I can’t say enough good things about the smart, talented, hardworking staff we have at C-VILLE Weekly,” Luck said. “Their tireless passion not only for the truth but to produce great products that inform readers of the ins and outs of the community in which we live is invaluable. What we do is important; every word we write matters. There’s no better feeling than opening that print copy each week, and I can’t wait to be on the other side as a reader and see what amazing things this paper does.”
