Fauquier Times names new managing editor

The Fauquier Times has named a new managing editor.

Earlier this month, Caterine Nelson, publisher of Piedmont Media, named Robin Earl as the new managing editor of the newspaper.

Earl, who has worked in journalism throughout her entire career, previously served as the managing editor of the now defunct Fauquier Times-Democrat between 1996 and 2007.

“With new owners at the helm and a 24/7 media environment, it’s a different job now than it was 10 years ago,” Earl said. “But I have always loved learning and writing about my neighbors in Fauquier County. Every person has a unique story to tell. The tapestry of Fauquier County is wide and varied. I want to cover it all.”
