Leaving photos on electronic reprints?

Is it required that we leave photos and other sidebar items on electronic reprints of articles, or is it acceptable to remove them in order to reflow articles for ease of reading? I’ve seen guidelines that indicate both, so I’m not sure. Thanks.

Photo entry limit

In the Categories for Daily Publications it reads the photography entry limit is three “per publication”, but noticed under “Per daily staffer of team” the limit is also three.

So if two photographers had three entries each, would they be able to submit all six, or are they limited to three between them?

Database entries for writing categories

For Business Writing category, can we submit printouts from an online database created to go with a one-day package on foreclosures, which altogether would constitute one of the three entries allowed?

Government writing

The government writing rules indicate it should not include court coverage. What if the government is being sued? We have a number of stories about folks suing the county and another where local folks were found in violation of election laws that really are more about government than criminal justice.

As part of our ongoing coverage of a news event, we published an interactive map with substantial text/research. Can the text of that map be used as one of the 12 entries in ‘general news’ category?

Electronic entries submitted after early bird deadline

I am submitting my electronic entries after the early bird deadline. When I print my summary sheet it says the cost per entry is $6.50 but it should be $7.00 since it’s after the early bird deadline. Do I need to correct this in the database somehow?

ERROR on electronic summary form?

When I print my electronic summary form it has ERROR at the top of the page.
