Unclaimed Property

Make sure the public is aware of unclaimed property notices. According to the Public Notice Resource Center, only 20 to 25 percent of all unclaimed property actually finds its way back to its original owner, and unclaimed property proceeds in some states amount to one of the largest forms of income, second only to tax revenue.
