Virginia Press Releases

Have your press release go to virtually all of Virginia's newspapers within hours of sending it to Virginia Press Services.

Press releases will usually be sent out within two to three hours of receipt. However, we guarantee a minimum turnaround of half a day. If we receive your press release prior to noon, it will be distributed by 5 p.m. the same day; releases received after noon but prior to 5 p.m. will be distributed by noon the next business day.

Submit your release using the form below or e-mail it to janetm@vpa.net. Payment is required before the release can be distributed. Payment may be made by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). A Word document is acceptable. If using copy with letterhead, preferred format is to receive e-mail in a pdf or jpeg format. VPA members receive a 20 percent discount off the costs outlined below:

Option 1 - Release sent to over 210 dailies and weeklies
Cost: $100 (attachments - $15 additional per attachment)

Option 2 - Release sent to dailies only
Cost: $60 (attachments - $15 additional per attachment)

Option 3 - Release sent to weeklies only
Cost: $60 (attachments - $15 additional per attachment)
