Bill Hall, former publisher of the Bristol Herald Courier, dies at 71

William "Bill" Hall, a former publisher of the Bristol Herald Courier, has died at the age of 71.

His family told the newspaper that Hall died Monday, July 16, in an accident at his home in Crockett.

Hall was president and publisher of the Bristol Herald Courier from 1998 until his retirement in 2003. He had served as president and publisher of numerous papers during his career.
