NAA Opposes Change to .jobs Charter

The Society for Human Resource Management and Employ Media, which are exclusively licensed to administer the .jobs domain, are proposing to revise their original charter to let them launch free location job sites such as richmond.jobs.

The Virginia Press Association was founded in the late 19th century and incorporated by a special act of the Virginia General Assembly in 1881.

We represent newspaper interests in the General Assembly through lobbying efforts and facilitate print and online advertising campaigns for our members. We also hold one of the largest news contests in the nation, annually attracting more than 5,000 entries.
