Dodge to deliver 1.3 billion impressions on Nov. 4

Dodge is creating a huge one-day online ad blitz Nov. 4. The goal is to capture 1.3 billion impressions. Some of the buy is still available. You need to reach your Dodge contact and try to get in on the buy. Although most of the impressions are going to the largest sites, there will be a number of remnant buys. This signifies a huge shift in strategy for automotive companies. GM recently announced that 1/3 of its entire marketing dollars will be spent online. It’s time to develop your relationships with the online buyers at the manufacturers and their respective ad agencies.

That’s a great tip, Charles. Any sense of whether they’re trying to place the campaign in site auto channels or run of site?

Most of the buy is on large portals, generally in ROS positions. The goal is to re-introduce the new Ram brand, which has been re-tooled to be more luxurious and car-like in its handling. With that in mind, lifestyle adjacencies are perfect locations. Happy Sales!
