Community Journalism Workshop - June 19-20, 2008
The 2008 Community Journalism Workshop will be held June 19-20 at VPA Headquarters in Glen Allen.
This intensive two-day program is aimed at beginning journalists and those who want to refresh their skills. It is also recommended for interns and copy editors. The emphasis will be on the fundamentals of reporting and writing, with special attention to ethics. Participants will take home a “tool box” to help them in their day-to-day practice of journalism.
