Comments: Comprehensive coverage that went beyond high school sports set this paper apart. It has the good pictures of the other papers, but it does a better job over more articles of truly capturing the events and letting the participants speak for themselves.

Comments: Very good writing that is expressive and expands on the games rather than using clichés to expand box scores. The pictures and graphics fit seamlessly in and generally always help the readers' understanding of the story.

Comments: The graphics and detail were outstanding, especially on cover stories. The stories chosen would be appreciated even by an out-of-state reader, although it would have been nice to see more articles. Overall, very well done, just left the judge wanting more to read. Also, the layout was easy on the eyes, which never hurts.
