Managing Editor

The Martinsville Bulletin, a 6-day, 17,000 morning newspaper in Southside Virginia, needs a hands-on managing editor. This community has a lot of local news, and the Bulletin works hard to cover it all. The managing editor edits local and AP copy, paginates pages on QuarkXpress, plans coverage, works with reporters, writes when necessary and fills in for the editor when needed. Night and weekend work involved. Send resume and samples of your work to Ginny Wray, Editor, Martinsville Bulletin, P.O. Box 3711, Martinsville, Va. 24115, or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
