Visiting the VPA

From points NORTH:
- Follow I-95 South to Exit 84-B (I-295/Charlottesville)
- Follow I-295 approx. 8 miles to Exit 51-A (Nuckols Road NORTH)
- Once on Nuckols Road, go 1.5 miles. You will pass through three traffic lights (landmarks to look for—Mount Vernon Baptist Church on right; YMCA, CVS and Twin Hickory Town Center on left; Walgreens and FasMart on right)
- After the third traffic light, you will pass Strayer University and go around a curve. VPA will be on the left, next to Grove Park (entrance driveway is between VPA building and the Grove Park sign)
From points SOUTH:
- Follow I-95 North to Exit 84-B (I-295/Charlottesville)
- Follow I-295 approx. 8 miles to Exit 51-A (Nuckols Road NORTH)
- Once on Nuckols Road, go 1.5 miles. You will pass through three traffic lights (landmarks to look for—Mount Vernon Baptist Church on right; YMCA, CVS and Twin Hickory Town Center on left; Walgreens and FasMart on right)

From points EAST:
- Follow I-64 West to Exit 200 (I-295 North to Washington)
- Follow I-295 for approx. 15 miles, where you will see the I-295/I-95 junction. Get in either of the two right lanes to stay on I-295.
- Once you’re past this junction, stay on I-295 for approx. 8 more miles to Exit 51-A (Nuckols Road NORTH)
- Once on Nuckols Road, go 1.5 miles. You will pass through three traffic lights (landmarks to look for—Mount Vernon Baptist Church on right; YMCA, CVS and Twin Hickory Town Center on left; Walgreens and FasMart on right)
- After the third traffic light, you will pass Strayer University and go around a curve. VPA will be on the left, next to Grove Park (entrance driveway is between VPA building and the Grove Park sign)
From points WEST:
(Note—Construction crews are currently building a flyover bridge from I-64 East to I-295, so please be mindful of construction sites and delays when making your travel plans)
- Follow I-64 East to Exit 177 (I-295 to Washington and Norfolk)
- Follow I-295 for approx. 2 miles to Exit 51-A (Nuckols Road NORTH)
- Once on Nuckols Road, go 1.5 miles. You will pass through three traffic lights (landmarks to look for—Mount Vernon Baptist Church on right; YMCA, CVS and Twin Hickory Town Center on left; Walgreens and FasMart on right)
- After the third traffic light, you will pass Strayer University and go around a curve. VPA will be on the left, next to Grove Park (entrance driveway is between VPA building and the Grove Park sign)
